CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Karthik has been CEO for 3 years and has led the company through a go-to-market transformation as the IT industry has embraced data driven analytics models. As an Informatics & Data Scientist running the business of Fusion, Karthik is focused in ensuring that the Fusion team studies the business drivers as the drive technology & analytics solutions creating and driving measureable value for their customers. Karthik is considered in the Business Intelligence consulting community as an expert in Data solutions for various verticals using the entire spectrum of high end Business Intelligence tools. Some of his well-defined Enterprise data models (dimensional, transactional and flavored) and architected solutions are used in major Fortune 500 companies for their decision processes ranging from Supply Chain, Distribution optimization, Reliability, Marketing, Finance, Payor, Healthcare etc. Some of these projects have turned into referenced success stories and baseline for various consulting organizations. Karthik is an exceptional breed of consultant who is able to blend creative approach to manage data so as to achieve enhanced business results. Karthik was schooled as an Engineer at a major IT school in India. He is a Certified Business Intelligence and Project Management Professional. Karthik, and his family with 2 children live in Plano, Texas.
DR. JAMES MCGLOTHLIN
CHIEF ARCHITECT & DIRECTOR OF HEALTHCARE
Dr. James McGlothlin is the Chief Architect of Fusion and the leader of our healthcare practice. As Chief Architect, Dr. McGlothlin manages and engages health systems on clinical quality, patient safety and operational efficiency with his talented team of data scientists, clinicians, and healthcare informaticists. Dr. McGlothlin has a PhD in computer science specializing in big data analytics, information retrieval, cloud computing and machine learning. Dr. McGlothlin began his career with 20 years of experience in software development for IBM and Dell and others, and has been dedicated to healthcare analytics for the last 7 years at Fusion. Dr. McGlothlin has 26 published papers including 12 peer-reviewed publications in leading healthcare and healthcare informatics conferences. Additionally, Dr. McGlothlin has invented 9 patents. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Medical Informatics Association, and the steering and program committee for four research conferences. Dr. McGlothlin oversees all of our healthcare designs and architecture and personally leads the development team for our largest clients. Dr. McGlothlin and his family live in the DFW area and he is an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and the Hurst Tigers, his four year old son’s t-ball team.
DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL INFORMATICS
Evan Crawford leads the Clinical Informatics and Optimization team within Fusion. Evan has over 12 years experience in healthcare in various roles. Evan is one of the proven leaders in Clinical Informatics space driving data solutions. Evan started his healthcare journey as a critical care nurse, involved with healthcare EMR applications design and clinical informatics teams at hospitals to help optimize workflows for providers and nursing staff. Over the last 7 years, Evan has helped various Health Systems realize various healthcare outcomes working in conjunction with Patient Safety and Clinical Quality teams. Core competencies include a great knowledge and understanding and optimizing data and workflows needed to improve the quality of care provided. Evan has an undergraduate degree in Decision Science and Information Systems from the University of Kentucky, an Associate’s degree in Nursing, and a Masters in Healthcare Informatics. Evan lives with his wife and son in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and is an avid sports fan, Kentucky basketball fan.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Paul is responsible for Business Development & Partnerships at Fusion. He has spent the last 5+ years working closely with hospitals and health systems to identify and implement analytics solutions that improve patient outcomes and lower costs. Paul has previously led teams of physicians, data scientists and health services researchers. He has also developed and implemented new corporate strategies. Paul earned his PhD in Biochemistry from UT Southwestern Medical Center. He lives in Dallas with his family. When not working around the house, Paul is outside with his family, usually playing either soccer, football or basketball.
Jim Elder has been in the Healthcare IT industry, his entire career, starting in 1983. Jim has held several key executive positions in six separate leading edge Private Equity backed HIT companies including; Phytel Inc. (acquired by IBM Watson Health), Healthvision (acquired by Quovadx), APACHE Medical (acquired by Cerner) and Actamed (acquired by Healthion Web MD). Jim’s expertise, experience and passion is in building Customer Experience models that ensure an overall quality of service and experience for healthcare customers. Jim has always pursued leading edge interests in emerging growth markets including: Health Information Exchange and sophisticated Data Management Solutions with heavy clinical interests, Clinical Outcomes Solutions and most recently helping to build the industry’s leading Population Health solution platform. Jim’s role experience includes EVP Sales & Client Services, Chief Executive Officer and multiple Sales, Marketing and Customer Services leadership positions. Jim graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983. Jim is a current employee at IBM WH. His hobbies include running, biking, travel and gardening. Married 30 years to Beth, they have raised 3 children, Jake 27 and twin girls Ellen and Adele 24.
David Bradshaw graduated from Texas A&M in 1984 where he was recruited into IBM. After 14 years there in various sales and product management roles, he joined Memorial Hermann as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), a position he has held for 19 ½ years. In 2004 in addition to the CIO role, David assumed the Chief Marketing Officer role and strategic planning. In 2015 he was promoted to EVP and Chief Strategy Officer for Memorial Hermann. His interests are in the digital transformation of the American healthcare system. He has focused on consumer empowerment with digital tools that facilitate the patient’s decision-making process and the building of enduring enterprise brands. His hobbies include saltwater fishing and road cycling. Married 30 years to Jennifer Bradshaw, also an Aggie, and together have raised 3 sons.

On June 25, 2019 we said goodbye to a phenomenal leader, mentor & friend, Jaime Heller. As a founding partner and CFO at Fusion, Jamie ran the finance and business operations. Jaime's background in BI and Analytics allowed him to drive and support the analytics strategy, assist in the development of business partners, help manage key customer relationships and influence the culture, growth and development of Fusion through this exciting time of technology transformation. Prior to starting Fusion Consulting, Jaime was the Vice President of Sales for WCI Consulting and was responsible for sales and support of consulting services related Business Intelligence and data warehousing engagements. Jaime also spent 5 years at Business Objects where he successfully ran the channel sales for the southwest region.

On July 13, 2015 we said goodbye to a professional leader, inspiring mentor and gifted entrepreneur, Jeff Wilhelm. As a founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Fusion Consulting Inc., he led the firm’s development from a single account to becoming a leading SAP® Gold Partner, distinguished Inc. 500, Inc. 5000 organisation, as well as, being recognised by CNN and CNBC as an “Emerging Leader for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence in the 21st Century.”
As impressive as these accomplishments are, we remember Jeff, not only for his professional acumen, but also for his passionate, big-hearted nature. Jeff’s energetic personality shined in his well-rounded interests. In college he competed in track, while completing his B.S. in Industrial Engineering. As an adult, he enjoyed volleyball, basketball and mountain biking. He was also the proud father of six children. As a professional, the most memorable quality everyone noticed about Jeff was his huge heart. He had a way of encouraging others, helping them realise the best in themselves, and always challenging those around him to rise to the occasion. It is this spirit that lives on with his team at Fusion – he will be remembered, not forgotten. Thank you Jeff.
